Call for Abstracts

The First International Multi-Organ Transplantation and Xenotransplantation Congress invites the submission of scientific abstracts for ePoster presentation only.

Submitted abstracts should present original work, clinical experience, research findings, innovations, or relevant case-based insights in the field of organ transplantation and related disciplines.

All accepted abstracts will be presented as ePosters and may be included in the congress materials and official scientific communications.

ePoster Guidelines

  • Only abstracts accepted by the Scientific Committee will be eligible for ePoster presentation.
  • Each accepted abstract must be prepared and submitted in ePoster format by the presenting author.
  • The presenting author must ensure that the final ePoster accurately reflects the approved abstract content.
  • ePosters should be clear, professionally designed, and easy to read in a digital format.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that all data, images, graphs, and references included in the ePoster are accurate and appropriately credited.
  • Detailed ePoster technical specifications and submission instructions will be shared with accepted authors in due course.

Disclosure

  • Submitted abstracts must comply with applicable ethical and scientific standards.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining all required institutional, ethical, and patient-related approvals where applicable.
  • Any financial support, sponsorship, or potential conflict of interest relevant to the submitted work should be disclosed.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet scientific, ethical, or formatting requirements.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Language

  • All abstracts must be submitted in English.

Authors

  • The submitting author will be considered the main contact for all correspondence.
  • All listed co-authors must have reviewed and approved the abstract before submission.
  • Author names, affiliations, and institutional details must be entered accurately at the time of submission.

Length

  • Abstract text should be concise and scientifically structured.
  • The abstract body must not exceed 500 words.

Title

  • The title should be specific, informative, and reflective of the submitted work.
  • Please avoid unnecessary abbreviations in the title.

Abstract Structure

A well-written abstract should include the following sections:

  • Background/Objectives: brief context and the purpose of the study or report.
  • Methods/Design: study design, materials, patient population, or approach used.
  • Results: key findings with relevant outcomes or observations.
  • Conclusion: concise interpretation of the findings and their relevance.

Review and Acceptance

  • All submissions will undergo scientific review by the Congress Scientific Committee.
  • Abstracts will be assessed based on originality, scientific relevance, clarity, and overall quality.
  • Only selected abstracts will be accepted for ePoster presentation.
  • The decision of the Scientific Committee will be final.
  • Accepted authors will receive further instructions regarding ePoster preparation and submission timelines.

The Almatrooshi Best-of-Abstracts Award

The Almatrooshi Best-of-Abstracts Award will provide a stipend of AED 10,000 to the best abstract author during the congress.

The award will support the winning author to register for and attend the American Society of Transplantation Annual Congress in 2027.

The announcement will be made during the closing remarks and Best-of-Abstracts recognition session on the final day of the congress.
